Originating in Tennessee, Thomas has always had a passion for construction and craftsmanship. After earning his BFA from Winthrop University, he spent over twenty five years building a career centered around residential and commercial construction, home improvement, and numerous repairs - many from home inspection lists. As the proud owner and lead inspector of Freedom Home Services, he brings  extensive experience and dedication to excellence into every inspection.

His career has included founding and managing a successful irrigation, pool and home repair and renovation businesses, supervising residential and commercial construction projects, and collaborating directly with clients to bring their visions to life. These experiences have created a unique perspective as a North and South Carolina licensed home inspector and given him the tools to provide thorough, precise, and professional home inspections. He approaches every inspection as an advocate for his clients, ensuring they have the information they need to make confident, informed decisions about their homes. Buying or selling property does not have to be overwhelming.  With Thomas by your side you can be sure you are well informed and not intimidated by daunting language or exaggeration.

When he’s not inspecting homes, he enjoys spending time with his family, working with pottery in his studio, playing music, or spending time in nature.  Thomas enjoys building lasting personal and business relationships through honesty, fairness, and exceptional service, and strives to ensure every client feels valued and supported.

Dani has over 15 years of customer service experience. She loves helping people and problem solving. She is very organized and goal oriented. Her strongest areas of skill are typing, multi tasking, and customer service. If she can help someone with a problem or question and leave them feeling like we genuinely care about them then she have done my job.  She have 2 beautiful daughters that double as my best friends. She gets to be momma to 3 other wonderful children with her husband, Jeff. She loves spending time with her family and friends. She is an animal lover and would take in every single one if I could. She enjoys college football, cook outs, swimming, and just being around the people that she love. She loves summer time and the beach is her happy place.

We would literally fall apart if Dani wasn't holding us together and we're so thankful she's on our team! If you haven't talked to her on the phone to hear her great Lancaster (SC) accent, you will soon!

Matthew Query - Inspector (Licensed in NC/SC & Indiana)

Lead Inspector. NC/SC Home Inspector. SC licensed builder. Certified Master Inspector®

Matthew was born and raised in a small town of less than 20,000 in Southwestern Indiana. He graduated from Purdue University. He served in the Infantry with the Indiana Army National Guard for 6 years. He earned the rank of Sergeant and was able to do one tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2003-2004. He moved to the Charlotte area in 2006 and has lived in Rock Hill since. He met his wife, a Charlotte native, and now has 4 children. He is a Christian and acknowledges Jesus Christ as his Heavenly Father. He gets to serve at Elevation Church in Rock Hill and has been a part of that church for over 12 years.

With a background in residential construction, warranty, and internal quality inspections, Matthew has a unique perspective on home inspections. He now gets to teach and train others from this unique vantage point. He holds a South Carolina Residential Builder's license and is also a licensed home inspector in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Indiana. He also holds a Certified Master Inspector® designation.

Rachelle Metcalf - Inspector-in-training (NC Licensed) and Environmental Technician, IAC2 Certified Indoor Air Quality Consultant

Part Time NC/SC inspector. Pool Certified. FAA drone certified. Certified Thermographer. NC/SC Wood Destroying Insect Inspector.

Rachelle claims Kentucky as her home as that is where she went to college, started her military career, and met her husband. She received a scholarship to play softball at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. After softball she joined the ROTC and earned a commission into the Army. After 1 deployment to Afghanistan, she was assigned to teach military science at Furman University and they decided to put down roots in Rock Hill, SC.

Rachelle is an Army Veteran of 8 years. She was a Ch-47F (Chinook) Helicopter Pilot and ROTC Instructor at Furman University. She enjoys spending time with her family, and friends. She is a self proclaimed "foodie" and enjoys exploring new restaurants and cooking for friends/family. She enjoys playing sports, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.

Rachelle claims Jesus Christ is her Lord and savior. She attends Impact Church and enjoys serving their church family and community.
